Journey: From Kragujevac to Dubrovnik

Traveling from Kragujevac to Dubrovnik

From Kragujevac to Dubrovnik, my journey began early in the morning as the sun was just starting to rise, casting a golden hue over the sleepy streets of the Serbian city. I boarded the train at 7:00 AM, filled with excitement for the adventure that lay ahead in the stunning coastal city of Dubrovnik.

As the train chugged along, I gazed out of the window at the changing scenery that passed before my eyes. The lush green hills of Serbia soon gave way to the rugged mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina, their peaks shrouded in a light mist that added an air of mystery to the landscape. I could feel the cool breeze on my face as we sped through tunnels and over bridges, the rhythmic clacking of the wheels on the tracks lulling me into a sense of tranquility.

During the journey, I struck up a conversation with a fellow traveler who shared stories of his own adventures in the region. It was heartwarming to connect with someone who shared my passion for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. The camaraderie of fellow passengers made the long journey fly by, and before I knew it, we were pulling into the station in Dubrovnik.

Leaving Kragujevac was bittersweet, as I had grown fond of its charming streets and welcoming people during my time there. But the promise of new experiences and breathtaking sights in Dubrovnik filled me with a sense of anticipation and wonder. I knew that I was about to embark on a journey that would stay with me forever.

And finally, I arrived in Dubrovnik, greeted by the sight of the sparkling Adriatic Sea and the ancient city walls that encircled the historic center. The warm sun kissed my skin as I stepped off the train, breathing in the salty sea air that carried with it the promise of adventure and discovery. I couldn’t wait to immerse myself in the rich history and culture of this enchanting city.

I chose Dubrovnik as my next destination because of its reputation as a jewel of the Mediterranean, with its stunning architecture, vibrant culture, and breathtaking natural beauty. I had long dreamed of wandering the narrow cobbled streets of the Old Town, exploring hidden alleyways and soaking in the panoramic views from the city walls. Dubrovnik seemed to hold a world of wonders just waiting to be discovered, and I was eager to uncover them all.

As I set off to explore the city, I knew that my time in Dubrovnik would be filled with unforgettable moments and unforgettable memories. The journey from Kragujevac to Dubrovnik had been just the beginning of my Eastern and Southern European adventure, and I couldn’t wait to see where the road would take me next.

Tomorrow I’ll explore my new accommodation and get my first proper taste of Dubrovnik. Stay tuned!
