Local Cuisine Discoveries

My dining experience at Stari Mlini in Herceg Novi was truly unforgettable. As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting and traditional decor creating a cozy ambiance. I decided to try the famous Sea bass fillet, which was served with a side of fresh vegetables and drizzled with a delicious olive oil dressing. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky, with a hint of Mediterranean herbs that made my taste buds dance with delight. For my main course, I opted for the Lamb shank, a hearty and tender dish that melted in my mouth. The meat was cooked to perfection, falling off the bone effortlessly, and paired wonderfully with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. To top off my meal, I indulged in the decadent Chocolate soufflé, a rich and velvety dessert that satisfied my sweet tooth. The combination of warm chocolate and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was a match made in heaven. Throughout my meal, the staff at Stari Mlini were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service that added to the overall dining experience. I even had the chance to chat with some locals who recommended trying the Peka, a traditional Montenegrin dish cooked under a bell-shaped lid. I left Stari Mlini feeling content and eager to return for another culinary adventure.
